A research project in collaboration with Greenwich and Goldsmiths University.

Myself and Paul Mortimer have concluded the conducting of interviews across the Academy and pro football environment which captured the lived experiences of young men and those they work with who are in or have passed through the Academy system. The research focusses on the mental and emotional impact their journey has had on them as individuals, consciously and unconsciously. The analysis has also now been completed, by the Universities, and the main findings and recommendations are due to be published and presented. Watch this space for further information.
